As a busy mom, how do you know if you are ready to change your life? In today’s episode, I am going to be sharing with you the signs to look out for. And of course, you know me, we will wrap up with a bunch of concrete action steps that you can take today to expedite your dream life glow-up.

The first sign that you may be ready to change your life is if you notice you are frequently feeling frustrated with your lack of progress. So many busy moms come to me when they feel as though they have been putting in the work, but not getting their desired results.
Moms that are focused on physical health and financial freedom goals are often the ones that find themselves here the most. That is because progress is sometimes slow and consistent action can be boring after awhile. But if you are feeling frustrated with your lack of progress in your life goal areas, you may be ready to change your life in some way!
So hear me out on this one. The second sign that you may be ready to change your life is if you notice yourself getting jealous. Wait, what? Yup, you heard it right. Jealousy is often looked at as a negative emotion. Moms don’t want to admit to looking across the PTA meeting and feeling a pang of envy.
But take a moment next time you feel jealous to dig into that feeling. What exactly are you jealous of? When you dig deeper into this, you may find that want you feel jealous about is what you want for your life. For example, I used to be jealous of my friends that got to stay home after they had babies. Because of our financial situation, I felt I had to go back to work. I would be endlessly jealous of pictures on social media of babies and moms at the library or a baby music class.
When I took the time to dig deeper into this, I realized that this was a sign that I was ready to change my life. I wanted more free time freedom than I had as a teacher. My jealousy was a neon arrow, pointing right to the door to start making moves towards my dream life.
The third sign that you may be ready to change your life is if you struggle to start your day. If you notice that the Sunday Scaries are starting to happen on Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday, start to ask yourself why. Why are you dreading going where you need to go? Is it the work? Or is it the overwhelm? Could it be something else? Driving to work with a pit in your stomach every single day is not living your dream life. So start to question this, dig deeper. What is this telling you?
The final sign that you may be ready to change your life is a sneaky one. Do you distract yourself a lot by using your phone? Really pay attention to this. Maybe your house is cluttered and constantly in a state of chaos. How do you cope? Do you whip out your phone? If you notice you are constantly distracting yourself from your life, this may be a sign that you are ready for a change.
Or maybe there is a conversation that you really need to have with a family member. But conveniently, every time you are in the room together, you find a way to distract yourself from having the tough conversation.
Call yourself out, mama. This is a tough one and probably the biggest obstacle to overcome in order to prepare to change your life.

And finally, it is time to stop planning and start doing. It’s time to change your life. Either on your own or with my support, you will start taking baby steps towards your dream life using the action plan you created. After all, there is no time to waste as a busy mom!
